More info on the play:
Written in 1947, FINIAN'S RAINBOW is a charming, really odd, huge musical dealing with magic, racism, bigotry, community togetherness, leprechauns looking for a recently purloined crock of gold and, as always, true love.
Stirred into the mix of sharecroppers, bigoted senators, lovers and wishes being granted (regardless of the chaos those wishes can cause) is some of the best music ever written…..songs like"Old Devil Moon", "How are things in Glocca Mora", "If this isn't Love", and "When I'm not Near the Girl I Love" and so many more!
East Theatre Company is pulling out all the stops on this production (which will be Melody Duggan's, ETC director, last show for East) with a fabulous set, a huge cast, crew and orchestra.
